I had an absolute blast in England at the beautiful wedding of Holly + Mike! They got married in Whitstable Castle which was built in the late 18th century and a gorgeous location for a wedding! The day rained on and off every 10 minutes but when it stopped, the sun was shining and the skies were bright blue! It made for a great sunset which shined bright on the new Mr & Mrs! Getting Ready
I love being apart of the getting ready process and seeing every last final detail come together. Florals, hair, makeup, dress… the works! I also do more than just photography during this time, I help in any way possible including being a body guard when shooting getting ready photos so that no guests sneak a peek at the bride before they’re supposed to. 😂
The Ceremony
The ceremony is where I tend to cry the most haha! You get to see the bride and groom see each other for the first time (unless they’ve done a first look) and boy when the men cry… I’m done! 😭 The look you see in someone’s eyes when they look at a person and are in complete content and happiness that they are going to spend the rest of their lives with that person. Then come the vows and those are absolutely beautiful!
Family Photos
The family photos are the longest part of my job at a wedding but the most rewarding for the guests afterwards. This is when I need a megaphone haha! Trying to call out for guests by name and you have no idea what they look like is hilarious!
Dinner + Details
Dinner is when I get to take a rest and enjoy the amazing food that the bride and groom have put so much effort into. This is when I also take some time while everyone is eating to capture all of the details that have come together to make this wedding the best it can be. 🙂
The Reception + Dancing
The reception with all the fun and dancing is where you get to mingle with the guests and meet so many new people! Everyone is having such an amazing time and I love capturing all of this!
Bloopers
